  3. Regional:

    1. Regional Chipper - 23:12 (Definitely got the feeling I could have moved a lot faster if I just worked through the pain, no exercise except for the ring dips actually requires rest, I will go at this a lot harder next time)

    2. For Time - 3:40 (Pull ups were 4 to 5 sets, overhead squats were unbroken, will get pull ups to 2-3 sets and see if the OHS still feel easy haha not looking forward to that)

  4. Did the regional chipper this morning with Wags. I'm in no way a regional competitor but pretty happy with my time.

  5. Regionals:

    2. 3:31 ( scale to 60kg. But done!)

  7. Did the regional chipper with Wags and Clayton this morning. It was rough but happy to have done it.

Time: 30:22 - Ring dips are a big goat.

My wode said my hips could open a little more on ohs. Super frustrating to hear this. Better now then in the wod.

    3 rounds + lunges + deads + TTB + 145m

    3rds + 70 reps
Worked on linking 3 killing TTB. I tend to do my TTB more strict but that only allows me to string together singles. Still a work in progress.

Also did back row with bar -
    3x5 at 65#, 70#, 75#

First played around with the 1rm hang snatch out of curiosity and hit 205, pretty stoked cuz that's only 10# under my max from the floor!

Then did the amrap and got 3 + 37

  18. Spent the afternoon doing several of the team workouts getting ready for next weekend. Handstand walks are coming along pretty well. The row, deadlift, TTB one is deceivingly tough! Absolutely destroys the grip.

  19. Open: this is the first time actually doing the competitor wods. I've always followed but I decided that I want to be more competitive in 2015 open. So I completed 2 rnds + 30 OH +6 DL's. I have a year to grow and get better and I know this programming will help me immensely. Thanks Ben.

  20. Open:

Good news/bad news: I apparently can't read or follow directions. Unfortunately, I completed the following sequence"

    30 Deadlifts @185
    25 OH Lunges
    20 TTB
    200m Run

No wonder why the DLs hurt so much?!? I have to admit, I'm pretty pumped that I did 90 DLs @185. Not bad for me.

Overall: 30 seconds short of 3 full rounds. Time expired somewhere on my last run, but I was determined to finish.
