Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteJust want to give you an quick update from Canada East regionals this weekend...
Workout #1 - 7:28 (a 30 sec PR, and good for a top 10 place)
Workout #2 - 135.10
Workout #3 - got 7 burpee muscle ups ... 6 more than I have ever done in a competition
Workout #4 - got 307 reps (hands were ripped pretty bad after this one, needed faster pistols to get me further on this one)
Workout #5 --6:09 (My 1RMX deadlfit is only about 235... I did #205 in singles and finished 2 minutes and 11 seconds faster than in practice)
Workout #6 -- 15.1 ( 1/2 length lunges away from finishing)
Workout # 7 -- rope climb no problem, but the squat clean was slow singles
I was 44th in the open and finished in 25th. Overall, I felt I was well prepared considering my strength and skill level right now. Thanks for the programming and support from this community.
Great work!!

ReplyDeleteCanada East Regionals this past weekend! :
ReplyDeleteEvent 1: 6:21 (near last place, but a 30 sec. PR so I was stoked hah)
Event 2: 215.30 (safe route from 185# instead of going for a risky opening 225#)
Event 3: 27 BMU's (previous time was 6:45, but the OHS's had me fatigued)
Event 4: 50 DB Snatches in time-cap, quite a fun time
Event 5: Skipped due to hip issues, took a 0 rep score which was allowed because of no minimum work requirement.
Event 6: 14:55! (my best placing which was 13th)
Event 7: 8:33
34th place overall, with the auto last place event 5, so very happy.
Thanks so much Ben for the last 5 months of programming. I'll be back on board in September or November.
