Big Bri - 2010 Master's Champion

Rest Day

Those that succeed at the highest level have total commitment.  There is no plan B, because having a plan B is planning to fail.  "There is no maybe.  You need to get up and say I'm going to be a Champion, and I'll do whatever it takes."

  1. Hey guys. Need some help

I'm not putting on anywherenear as much as i had first thought. What sort of changes are you guys experiencing. Also food. I'm eating heaps could my food timings be off and most of it is being wasted or is it metabolism and I need to increase it more? Any thoughts or comments are appreciated

  2. Yes, I also need help with the food/diet. I'm 6'3 and am 185. I want to put more weight/muscle on but I don't think I'm eating at the right times or eating enough. Any suggestions would be a big help.

  3. Sean and Matt - bottom line...eat more. If you are a "hard-gainer" you need to work at putting on size. Log your intake for 2-3 days and use an online diet log to see how many calories you are taking in.
We have smaller athletes that have gained 10 pounds since the games, but they are WORKING hard at it. If you are under 5000 cals a day it's not going to happen.
Record your diet - exactly for a day or two - my guess is you are closer to 3000 cals/day, but I could be wrong. Post again and let me know how much you're eating.

    1. All so I'm hitting about 3500 - 4000 calories. I'm doing with sweet potato and heaps of organic milk. In each serving I am having about 200g of sweet potato per meal about Four times a day. Should that be more. What are your top guys eating and how much of it? Are they on the full cream milk.
