ReplyDeleteToday in our gym we were doing this complex:
ReplyDelete1) 15 minutes to establish a 1RM Hang Snatch (top of knee).
2) Hang Snatch: 1X1@90%, 1X@95%, 1X1@100% of 1RM from #1 – rest as needed.
3a) 4X2 Snatch 1st Pulls @ 125% + (of max Snatch) – rest 60 sec.
3b) 4X5 SN Grip Behind the Neck Push Press – heaviest possible, rest 60 sec.
So established 1RM - 200Lbs Very happy with it!

2) 2:11:13, broke it up into 5 rounds of 25 burpee pull-ups followed by a two mile run. Finished with 25 burpee pull-ups to hit 150. Very cold out today, felt good to run!

ReplyDelete210 on snatch. had 220 but couldn't stand up. 100% technique issue. the video shows it all.
only got half way 75 buroees 5 miles then ran out of time.
Really needed to do this at 3pm and dedicate the afternoon to it vs. starting at 345am. ugh.
Not enough tome... story of ny life it feels like.

I did 15 bmu's and 1 mile. Finished the bmu's with 3 miles left so it was a 5k to finish haha I'm just glad that over!!!

I have grad class until 7:30 tonight, so I will be starting around 8:00 once I get to the gym. I am going to have to use a treadmill due to safety, and I may not be able to dedicate a full two hours... I know it says no excuses, but here are mine in the open :) Ifi didn't have grad class tonight, then it wouldn't be that difficult to fit in...I am going to try my best before the gym closes! :)
ReplyDeleteI got kicked out of the gym at 10:00 pm. I finished my last run to end the 10 miles - and didn't have anything to do my remaining 15 burpee pull-ups on, so I did 15 burpee tire flips...

I am proud of myself for finishing this after working a full 8 hour day teaching, sitting through a 3.5 hour grad class - then getting to the gym at 8:15.

WOD: had to shorten to : 5 miles, 150 burpee pull-ups: 1:06:38, did in 10 rds of 800 metre run, 15 burped pull-ups. This was way better than my last attempt of the same workout.

1. 195# technically a PR, but I pulled a 200# low-hang squat snatch in early Sept. Was hoping for >200# but strength wasn't there today.
ReplyDelete2. 1:48:14 Rx. Cardio not an issue at all. Aches, pains, slight cramping, calf tightness more of an issue. Running pace remained 8:15/mi to 8:30/mi but breaks to stretch or drink water increased.

1. Worked up to 175 on snatch today.. Working technique. Slowly figuring this out. No 1RM until I get comfortable again.
ReplyDelete2. Not enough time to do "Clove" today. Ran a 5k with the wife, did 1 min interval runs for most of the 5k. Then did 150 burpees pull-ups for time - 17:50. The bar was low, at wrist height but was still a good challenge after the run.

ReplyDeleteGreat job, Tucker! I followed the exact same template as you and got through 15 rounds in 77:40, but then had to stop to teach a class. I didn't have time to finish afterwards. Going to go for the 1RM snatch tomorrow morning.

2) did AMRAP 60 of 25 bpu, run 2 miles - 3 rds + 1 - total of 6 miles and 76 bpu. I'm spent. Props to those who completed everything. Just not enough time for me.

ReplyDelete2. thought I finished in at 1:41:30 but I messed up my count and fell a mile short so total was 9 miles but I broke it up 6 miles 75 burpee pull ups then did 3 miles 75 burpee pull ups. still a huge PR with running distance for me and keeping the pace I did, I was very happy with myself.
