  5. So I guess I didnt read the Instructions to well on this one rounds 1-5 were around :58-1:05,1:10 and round six I started missing so I took 1 minute off and continued on the path so pretty much did the last 5 rounds for time rested where needed time finished 25:42 I am glad I did the 225# cleans form felt good and I kept the intensity in each individual round. I guess I will take the time to better read instructions next time. THIS WOD WAS GREAT THOUGH THANKS BEN!

Hadn't weighed myself in about 3 months. Decided to last night. Gained 10 pounds, hah! Now 175#. Main changes have been about 60g of carbs post-WOD instead of 30g, as well as the shift to competitor's WOD.

As for today... el destroyo. Rested yesterday so did the deadlifts today.

    1. Deadlift 5RM
    - 335# (10# PR)

    2. - Did squat cleans and bar muscle-ups, and only 9 rounds.
    - 3 Rounds at 205#
    - 2 Rounds at 185#
    - 4 Rounds at 165#
Played catchup the whole time after round 3 because of time wasted switching weights and slowing down. Finished the 9 rounds in 21 minutes.

Went meathead. I didn't really have any idea where my squat cleans were at, but now I do. Not as good as I thought. I'll be saying my prayers for power cleans in the Open instead of squat cleans.

1:40 - MUs broken at this point
    2:00 @ 205#
2:00 @ 205# missed burpees, Singles on MUs the rest of way
    2:00 @ 185# missed burpees
    2:14 @ 155#
    1:44 @ 155#

MUs drained me and took well over 1 min starting in 6th round, but I did get them all. Cashed out with TTB and DU work

  11. I debated about whether and how to do this wod literally all day. Haven't done muscle ups in about 3 months while resting/strengthening shoulder.
Decided to scale and do singles each round. Went well - shoulder feels great. Stinks to scale but sometimes it's the right thing to do.

Singles on muscle ups until last 2 rounds- did 2's. Rx cleans

  15. my ego got the best of me today... and my "plan" went out the door! got through the weight but didnt rx this one due to the fime component ... I'm not really upset at myself... because at the end of the day... I got through 50 cleans @ 155 and consistently strung 3 m ups together with ease... just mad I couldn't move faster mentally ... I think my body had more "go" my mind did not!
    ** should have probably done 135-145... but ah we'll here's a summary

    1. 1:32
    2. 1:41
    3. 1:53
rested 2 minutes then tried again
    4.2:02

    7. 1:58
    8. 1:49
    9. 1:48
    10. 1:55
so ot3in would have been good... but should have followed instructions!

  17. Did the wod 8 rds rx last two took about 215 each. got frustrated with the power
    cleans.

  18. when it says "Clean" arent we talking about a squat clean? im confused, everybody seems to do power cleans.

    1. IMO, a clean is a squat clean but it seems for programming that a clean is any variation you want, if a squat clean is Rx'd it would say specifically.

  19. Did bar muscle ups with green band, ((how do you folks coach scaled muscle ups? I figure using the band i'm teaching my brain the stimulus of the turn over, is there a better scale I could be doing, chest to bars/ ring dips?))
Anyways, PC 7 rounds @135, 3 rounds@125, all inside 2 minutes except last 3 burpees. Totally star fished a ton of the cleans, need to fix that.

    1. I think it's good to do both, banded and dips/ c2b's.
