Happy Thanksgiving!
1. Clean and Jerk
2x2 Moderate
2. "Murph"
For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull ups
200 Push ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run
Bookend with the mile runs, but you can partition the Pull ups, Push ups and Squats as you like.
Is it dumb to do the movements in order instead of breakin them up?
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteConnor I wanted to mention it is pretty awesome to see you posting on this blog. Love the tattoo.

Congrats brother. Good for you for giving credit to God and your faith. Nothing happens without Him!
Delete39:29 w 20# vest. 5 mins slower than pr but I'm happy with it. Foot still banged up from clovis- made the runs slow.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgivihg everyone.
Derek, where is your foot hurting? Mine was torched on the outside my leg foot! It's just gettinf better. Ill probably just use a vest and ditch the runs today. Dot want to push my luck with this foot just healing up
DeleteLeft*
DeleteOutside of my left foot too. Very strange- never had that before, but then again I never ran more than 3 miles before either! It's still very sore. Let me know if you have any thoughts about what happened.
DeleteI was going to skip the run too but Geoffs speech about Lt. Michael Murphy got me all fired up.
I posted the link on the CFNE site, can't paste here for some reason. Check it out.
Hey man, yeah I think we both have a mild case of peroneal tendinitis. Check that out, pretty sure our symptoms are the same.
DeleteAnd yeah man I checked out the speech! I did the runs too!! The day after clovis it was literally painful to walk!! Got 34:01 today w/ 20# vest
My bad: 35:01
DeleteProb right. Think I'll rest it tomorrow by doing touch n go snatches!

"murph" : 35:01 RXd w/ 20# vest
ReplyDeleteWanted to follow up on what my boy Barousse said. My number 1 goal is to glorify God in everything I do! Secondly is my wife for allowing me to dedicate an ample amount of time to this sport I love so much! Wanted to give a shout to one of my best friends and training partner, Alex Romero. I know I wouldn't be where I am at in this sport if it were not for him pushing me day in and day out. Want to thank Ben for some BOSS programming! When I make it to regionals this year, you better believe people will know I follow CFNE! I mean that in the most humble way possible! Let's keep getting after!!
ReplyDeleteWell said bro. Man cave party at regionals. WHOOOOO!!! haha
